Keith Haring- Role Model to Follow

One of the first Urban Artist to be in the public was Keith Haring, he was one of the pioneers in this form of art and of expressing yourself. This can be seen through his art and through his art and how it shows through his famous cartoons movement and change not only of society but of one. He uses shapes and colors to show how society is all the same yet different at the same time, he has bold colors and bold shapes. Haring's odd shapes make him different from most of the other artist of his time, it gave him a style that differentiated him from the rest and left a indelible mark in the history of street art. He really was above his generation of artist and look to the future and what the future of this form of art was going to be like. He's art is recognized world wide and worked with some of the most influential people of his time period, including Madonna, Andy Warhol in between others. He was a real inspiration to many of todays urban artist and really started the art period of urban art.

Mentalgassi- Hidden Art

Mentalgassi is a group of three Berlin based street artist that combine photography, image manipulation, sculpturing and street art, they manipulate photographs and expose them around the cities of Europe mainly, and give a connection for just a second between the public and them. The photographs that are exposed show a lot of emotion and face expressions that can leave the public confused and intrigued by them. Among their most popular work are the "Metalheads" which was when they got portraits of mostly families and friends and blasted them up and printed them and put them on recycling bins around the their home-town, Berlin. This was followed by a series of face stickers attached to U-Bahn ticket validation machines, which made the public laugh since they were normally

of people making funny faces which interact with the public who is going into the metro, this started giving them recognition. One of there most hidden work is there work on fences which when looked directly at the fence is unseen but by walking and concentrating a portrait of a detailed black and white photograph will be revealed. They are truly amazing artist that take what the city has already given them and turn it into amazing portraits and amusing pieces in the places that nobody thinks are possible.
